Mais uma vez trago um livro da escritora que virei fã, adoro suas palavras, sua objetividade, seus textos sempre com uma mensagem de vida, nossa muita emoção envolvida.
Jeannette conta em primeira pessoa a vida de sua avó, uma mulher batalhadora que passou por muita coisa: uma Guerra, perda de sua casa, humilhação, entre outros acontecimentos, mas soube superar e viver um dia de cada vez. Além do seu amor por cavalos.
Seu amor por Jimmy é algo mágico, simples, mas intenso. Sua dedicação a tudo que fazia era extraordinário, ela corria atrás pois acreditava que daria certo.
Nessa família percebi que o DNA para certas atitudes, como o modo de vida, está bem forte, não tem como ser diferente. Se vocês lerem os livros perceberão também.
Em alguns momentos achei um pouco cansativo, porque tinham muitos detalhes, que parecia infindáveis, mas fazia parte da história, por isso não desistimos de ler.
Tem 344 páginas, uma capa que é a família dela e dentro do livro tem outras fotos também, bem legais.
O preço para livro físico é muito bom.
O final é como tinha que ser, porque você já tem relação com o livro anterior que é o “Castelo de Vidro”, já comentado aqui (link abaixo).
