Nossa eu esperava tanto desse livro e não me encantou. Achei chato, imagino um estudante que tem mil coisas para estudar e ainda tem que ler esse livro, que sinceramente não sei para que serve no vestibular.
Acredito que não entendi a mensagem, mas pelos comentários que li dele, achei que gostaria.
Foi um dos poucos livros que demorei muito para ler, não tinha vontade nenhuma, porque numa hora Pepetela(autor) falava da guerrilha que vivenciou, de lutar pelos direitos do MPLA (Movimento Popular de Libertação da Angola) com as tropas portuguesas e depois ficou um bom tempo relatando sobre relacionamentos amorosos.
Algo interessante é o detalhamento de tudo que acontece durante a guerrilha, como pensavam os guerrilheiros, como eram seus líderes, seus inimigos. Como lidavam com a falta de suprimentos, ficando dias sem comer, sem dormir. Tem situações que você até se imagina numa floresta com um bando de homens com pensamentos diferentes mas com o mesmo ideal. A maioria dos homens escolhidos nasceu para estar ali.
Deu para imaginar como era a organização desse movimento que buscava construir uma nova Angola livre da colonização, onde na guerra só matavam outros guerrilheiros quando não tivessem outro jeito.
Em comparação com a colonização aqui do Brasil, foi algo bem diferente porque os guerrilheiros lutavam pelo direito a terra e melhores condições de vida aos pobres e mais necessitados. Não entregariam a terra deles para os portugueses, queriam ser livres.
Enfim nas 248 páginas o que percebi foi isso, a capa é sensacional e o autor por mais que não me encantei com a estória, escreve muito bem.
Os personagens estão muito bem definidos, como por exemplo o “Sem Medo”. Esse líder gostei muito da narrativa porque demonstrou que ele nasceu para lutar pelos seus ideais, sem medo da morte, entendendo a parte da organização mais fraca e lidando com comandantes mais digamos, bravos e intolerantes.
Não é um livro tão caro, mas pedido em vestibular principalmente FUVEST.
