Que livro delicioso de ler, porque é de uma época que não vivi, apenas assisto filmes, leio, então me encanta e tenho muita curiosidade.
Ele se passa no sul do país no ano de 1810. Prisciliana é filha de um senhor de engenho e vive de maneira pacata cercada por escravos e familiares.Bem típico daquela época.
Miguel, um jovem lisboeta, usando do seu charme, mostra a Prisciliana como é o amor, mas que na verdade, ela descobre nos braços de outro homem( viu começaram os conflitos e o mistério).
Entretanto Prisciliana se decepciona no decorrer da história. Se preparem para fortes emoções.
O outro homem é um feitor de escravos, Francisco, que está entre os dois e pasmem, a Prisciliana sente algo estranho e atrativo por ele, a deixando em dúvidas.
É a partir daí que a história se desenrola e fica muito boa.
Será que ela será feliz?
É envolvente, os personagens são bem definidos e é bem escrito. Você torce por cada personagem e não quer parar mais de ler.
Não posso esquecer que há também a relação da mulher submissa, casamentos arranjados, conflitos internos e externos.
O final é surpreendente, 149 páginas, preço bom para livro digital e linda capa.
